App announces your death on Facebook

There is now a free Facebook App called "If I Die" (ifidie.net).
I am not sure how I feel about it.  Yes it would be a good way to inform the people that don't read the newspaper.  But, it makes just another way for people to post false information. 

I personally had my health card cancelled on me, because someone called in and said I was dead, but here I am.  As far as I know I am not dead yet, as much as it would be so much better after death.
